They get extra Coney Island Guilties for having Nathan's Hot Dogs as part of their brand. Love those all beef doggies with kraut and we always crave those Nathan's fries. Add in a Stewart's Root Beer Drive-in and this guilty pleasure oasis would be worthy of a field trip.
Brusters offer a wide variety of fantastic ice cream flavors and you will want to try all of them. Thin Mint, Junior Mint and especially Double Mint all ordered well, but no one else was in the same guiltisphere as me.
I was still working when Thin Mint called in to give me my menu choices.
"Frozen Yogurt," she asked? Lets face it, she can be delusional.
"Sorbet," my Skinny Queen suggested? Techies call this a disconnect.
Then she finally realized, much to her chagrin, that only the cool and creamy would please me. Thin Mint began to recite the long list of flavors. After about 15 choices, she came upon back to back winners. "White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle and Jamaica-Me-Crazee please, No mix-ins necessary, but caramel sauce is a must have," Guilty glowed. The fresh whipped cream was a nice touch.
Touchdown and a two point Guilty conversion!!! My dessert was spectacularly delicious. It was best local ice cream this summer. Thin Mint raved about their staff and their fantastic energy. We love to see and hear about great kids doing great jobs.
